A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, 27th September 2024, and to those who kindly donated cakes and treats, helping us to raise money for this worthy cause.
It was wonderful to see so many families and students involved and we are delighted to announce that we raised a fabulous £62.92!
So, thank you to all for making it such a success – we had a wonderful morning!
Whilst students and staff were away enjoying their summer holidays, the academy was still extremely busy getting ready for the new academic year.
Miss Smith and Mrs Jones met with Brian and Jeff from @mitie who are working with the @coopuk project on a redevelopment of our Outdoor School. We were so lucky to have been selected!
Some fabulous news!
Following further participation in the Woodland Trust "Green Tree School Award" we have received our Silver Award!
We are looking forward to getting more saplings, later in the year, to plant in our Outdoor Learning space and provide some year round colour, which will also, hopefully, attract wildlife.
The planting of the saplings will be linked to our outdoor learning lessons and activities in school and we’ll then set our sights on achieving Gold and then Platinum!
The certificate is being proudly displayed in our reception area!
