In the Explore Pathway, we follow a theme-based approach to the curriculum, with a new theme introduced each term. The pathway provides pupils with access to a broader and more enriching curriculum that prepares them for the next stage of their education and beyond. Through practical literacy and numeracy, community engagement, problem-solving opportunities, and the development of essential life skills, pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience. Supported collaboration, transition planning, and preparation for adulthood help ensure that learning is meaningful and purposeful, while opportunities for formal accreditation recognise and celebrate pupils’ achievements.
